About the Lodge
An intimate boutique hotel in Cyuve, Musanze (Ruhengeri), set along the road heading to Kinigi and the Volcanoes National Park headquarters, roughly 15 minutes from the park gate where all gorilla treks begin. Surrounded by gardens and farmland with views of the Virunga volcanoes and the rolling hills of the "land of a thousand hills." Small and personal, it's known for its post-trek ritual: guests return to freshly brewed local tea, a complimentary foot massage on the terrace, a boot-cleaning service, a shower, the pool and a three-course lunch, all included in the overnight rate. About 2.5–3 hours by road from Kigali.
