Mburo Safari Lodge
(3-STAR)
About the Lodge
An eco-friendly lodge set high on a hill inside Lake Mburo National Park, with views over rolling grasslands and acacia woodland. Cottages are raised on wooden platforms with grass-thatched roofs. Zebra, impala, and buffalo graze the grounds, and a resident troop of vervet monkeys lives on the "Mburo Rocks" behind the restaurant, a sunrise viewing spot. A telescope is installed on the restaurant balcony for birding. Roughly 3.5 hours by road from Kampala, near Sanga Trading Centre; often used as the final stop on a Uganda circuit before returning to Entebbe.
