Detailed 12 Days Kenya & Tanzania Safari- Wildlife to Beach

Meet and greet upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport exit point by our team, pick up and transfer to your Nairobi hotel ( Central Inn Hotel) . Check in freshen up and spend the rest of the day at your hotel, an oasis of serenity amidst one of Africa’s most vibrant cosmopolitan capital cities. Overnight stay in Nairobi.

Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge and meet the driver for the transfer to Wilson airport for your afternoon domestic flight to Masai Mara. Arrive at the airstrip in about an hour and transfer to the lodge of your booking for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast and depart the lodge with your packed lunch boxes for a full day game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. At lunchtime, 4wd Africa Safari guide will pick a scenic (and safe) spot where you will enjoy your lunch and hear animals howling, birds chirping and the mighty Mara River flowing across the savannah bringing life to the park. After watching more of the spectacle that never gets dull, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart after early breakfast with your packed lunch boxes driving to the Tanzania/Kenya border of Isebania/Sirare and proceed to Serengeti National Park. If you option for hot lunch , then you will have a stop over at Bunda town ( LMH) and later proceed to Serengeti from Ndebaka Gate.

Start your day with an early morning Balloon excursion, the adventure begins just before dawn. Guests assemble at the launch site for a briefing as the flames from the hot air balloon burners light the darkness as the crews inflate their craft. As the dawn breaks the hot air balloon fills and then rises. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-colored canopy, you’re off for a wildlife viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. What amazes most first-time balloonists is the absolute stillness: the silence as you float in the end-less plain of the Serengeti. The flight lasts around an hour, drifting wherever the air currents take you. There are ample opportunities for photography and video filming. Then your Hot Air Balloon Safari finishes with a flourish. In the time-honored tradition of balloon flights, the world over, you toast your return to earth with a champagne breakfast, cooked wherever you land.

After an early breakfast, pack your bags and depart  to exit the serengeti National Park as you enter the lovely  Ngorongoro Crater, an early start to the day is best in order to avoid the later influx of tourists into the Ngorongoro Crater. The park gate opens at 0600, so it is best to be there as close to this time as possible. There are a number of lions which are typically larger in size than an average lion due the large amount of game in the area. The crater floor tends to get very busy, with there often being numerous vehicles at any wildlife sighting.

Drive to Lake Eyasi, a mildly alkaline lake about 55km long. If seeing hundreds of species of birds excites you, Lake Eyasi is a perfect destination for you to see flamingos, pelicans, spoonbills, weavers, spurfowls, storks, barbets, egrets and more. The visit includes meeting the Hadzabe & Datoga people and spend the day observing their ways. The Hadzabe is an indigenous tribe known as the hunter gatherer Bushmen. Visit their homesteads and learn more about their life style. Hunting in groups with bows and arrows, this tribe is able to survive with what the environment provides. The Hadzabe bushmen treat diseases with their own medicines. The Hadzabe speak a very unique click language. Apart from this cultural activity the area offers superb hiking, bird watching and beautiful scenery. (with lunch, dinner & breakfast)

After breakfast, pack your bags, depart camp transfer to Arusha airstrip. Here you will bid your guide farewell as you board your flight to Zanzibar. Meet and greet upon arrival at Zanzibar airport exit point by our team, pick up and transfer to your Zanzibar hotel. Check in freshen up and spend the rest of the day at your hotel, where you’ll have free time to relax or have leisure walks on the beach. Depending on your preference on day 8 and 11, there are a variety of optional activities available. Your days are therefore open to be structured as you choose, with either as much relaxing by the pool, or as many activities as you wish. Options are: Option 1: JOZANI & SPICE TOUR Morning breakfast and get ready for the drive to Jozani Forest to enjoy seeing the Red Colobus monkeys. After, proceed to the Spice farm, where you can see a variety of spice plants and herbs. Testing the fruits and spices will give you the authentic taste. After the tours, drive back to your lodge for dinner & overnight (HB) Option 2: BEACH LEISURE DAY (FB) Today you will have a full day of enjoyment and relaxation on beautiful clean beaches and swim, snorkel or dive in the clear warm water. be sure to indulge as the sun melts away and the sky turns to night. In the evening, you will get a time to go to nearby streets and choose a restaurant to which you will taste local food and enjoy good company with local people as well as delicious spice bites of the Island. Dinner and stay overnight back to your Hotel. Option 3: CITY TOUR & SHOPPING After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the chance to explore the island and its hidden treasures. Travel deep into the interior to see the fragrant spice Island. Discover the Stone Town on a city tour. Stone Town was recently declared as one of the world's heritage sites. With your guide, you will walk in the footsteps of Arab sultans of Zanzibar, the Portuguese, British, the Germany Architectures and hear more about those days when Zanzibar was a center of commerce of the world. Option 4: NAKUPENDA TOUR After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel for full day beach adventures ‘Nakupenda is a Swahili word for I love you’ Tour (Sand Bank Picnic) includes sailing dhow to visiting the historical Prison Island, now stand as a home of giant tortoise living for more than 120 years. After that, it’s time to relax on the white sands of the Pange Sandbank and soak up the Zanzibar Sun. Admire the breath-taking view of the turquoise waters that surround you and the birds that loom up above. Snorkeling, swimming with BBQ lunch on the tour with fruits, water, soft drinks. After breakfast, you will depart to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home or connecting to Dar es Salaam, Julius Nyerere International Airport, where you will then catch your international flight and bid farewell to your guide for your onward journey.
